  What is it that you'd like to know about the freissans...I've spent time with some of them...usually temperment wise they are no different than other breeds in that a horse is a horse, tho when people go for a specific breed much has to do with the look, or the image that people connect with...

    I beg to differ. While some people might go for image in breed selection, most people choose a horse based on its ability to perform certain tasks. For example: Quarter Horses for cutting and barrel racing, Arabians for endurance or draft horses for hauling.
    
    From what I have read about Friesian horses they appear to be quite versatile in both driving and dressage and have even temperament and are quick to learn.

      I can see this is an older post but I must add that Friesians are uniquely beautiful and can be absolutely stunning in dressage.
      I've seen them both in driving and dressage competition and they stole they show. I'm told they can be quite happy trail riding as well.
      "Black Sterling Friesians" import, own, show, and sell Friesians. They are located in Sonoma. Haven't been there myself but they have a lovely website. I visit it often to drool over the horses they have for sale ; )
